 John joined BMO Capital Markets in 1997. He covers the life insurance and diversified financials sector. Prior to joining the company, John was a fixed income analyst for four years at Great-West Life’s U.S. operations, covering the communications and media, cable and telecommunications industries.
The Brendan Wood International survey has consistently ranked John as an all-star analyst. In the 2008 survey, for the fifth year in a row, he achieved a first-place ranking in diversified financials. He was also ranked as an all-star analyst in life insurance.
John holds a BA in economics from Queen’s University (1991), an MA in economics from McGill University (1993), and is a CFA charter holder.
