Paul Martin, President and Chief Operating Officer, KRG Insurance Brokers Inc.

Paul began his insurance career 29 years ago. After a stint as a Lloyd’s broker for C.T Bowring’s in London, Paul returned to Canada as an underwriter with a prominent Canadian insurer.  In 1983, Paul joined the brokerage ranks at KRG Insurance Brokers as the Commercial Marketing Manager responsible for the commercial portfolio of approximately $750,000 in premiums.  Today, under Paul’s leadership, KRG is ranked as one of the top independent insurance brokerages in Canada, employing more than 60 well-respected insurance professionals.

Paul is a member of many broker advisory councils, is a Director of the Toronto Insurance Conference, sits as the Treasurer of the Insurance Institute of Ontario, and is past Chairman of the John E. Lowes Scholarship Fund.

Paul has been an integral part of the KRG Charitable Foundation raising millions of dollars for many worthwhile charities. He also sits on the board of the North York Children’s Safety Village and York Region’s Police Chief Appreciation Committee.
