 Ron Miller is Actuary and Chairman of Baron Insurance Services Inc. and has been active in the P&C insurance industry since 1977. Having worked for insurance industry associations, insurance companies and consulting firms, he has a broad base of experience in all aspects of P&C insurance. He has extensive experience in Automobile Insurance, having authored and co-authored numerous reports in jurisdictions across the country, as well as in risk analysis, statistical analysis, and the development of alternative funding mechanisms. He is the Appointed Actuary to several insurers.
Ron holds a Master of Science degree in Statistics and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mathematics (Theory of Probability), both from the University of Toronto, and is a Fellow of both the Casualty Actuarial Society and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.
