Chris Carver

Chris Carver has spent more than 30 years helping insurers and fleet operators turn telematics data into actionable road risk insights, underwriting analytics and safer fleet operations. Today, he serves as the Usage-Based Insurance (UBI) Consultant for Toyota North America and as a Product Consultant for Milliman’s North American Commercial Auto solutions team.

Before joining Toyota and Milliman, Chris led Liberty Mutual’s award-winning Commercial Auto telematics program for four years, helping drive new approaches to fleet risk assessment and underwriting. He later founded a driving data aggregation platform, now known as the Driven Data Network. He found a niche providing underwriters and claims professionals with powerful insights into how autonomous, semi-autonomous, and conventional fleets operate alongside one another in the real world.

Chris holds a Master of Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. With deep expertise spanning connected vehicles, commercial auto insurance, and emerging vehicle technologies, he is a respected voice on the future of fleet risk management and mobility.
