Klaus Wilkens

Klaus Wilkens became President and Chief Executive Officer of Munich Reinsurance Company of Canada (MRoC) and Temple Insurance Company on April 1, 2024. He brings more than 25+ years of experience in the global reinsurance and insurance markets.

Since joining Munich Re in 1995, Klaus has held senior underwriting and client management roles across multiple regions, including Africa, Europe, and Canada, with responsibility for complex non-life reinsurance portfolios and establishing successful partnerships.

Klaus serves on the Board of Directors of Munich Reinsurance Company of Canada and Temple Insurance Company and holds external board positions with the Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC), the Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction (ICLR), and the Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CGCIC).
