Pierre-Alexandre Jalbert

As one of the leaders of Desjardins General Insurance Groupe (DGIG), Pierre-Alexandre is responsible for:

• Modernizing our technology and data ecosystems to support the acceleration of our member-client transformation and to enhance organizational agility and performance;

• Transforming our organization through advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and the implementation of major strategic initiatives.

During his 17 years of service at DGIG, Pierre-Alexandre has held various management positions, including in the Claims sector as Transformation Lead as part of the acquisition of State Farm’s Canadian operations, as well as Omnichannel Member and Client Journeys Vice President, and Modernization, Project Office and Business Architecture Vice President.

Before joining DGIG, Pierre-Alexandre worked at AXA Montreal and then at EY in Los Angeles.

Pierre-Alexandre holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from Laval University and is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FICA).
