François has more than 25 years of experience in the P&C insurance field. He joined RBC Insurance in 2005 and was Corporate Actuary for RBC General and RBC Travel until recently when he moved into his current function.
François has a broad base of experience in the actuarial valuation, pricing, reinsurance, finance, underwriting, claims and operations of P&C insurance companies. Over the years he has participated in a number of industry task forces, many dealing with automobile product reform, and industry committees on insurance statistics and residual markets. François also participated heavily in committees of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business (Corporate Finance) and Bachelor of Science (Actuarial) from Laval University. François is also a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
