As a managing director, Joe Seeger co-leads the Complex Risk Solutions Group of NFP in Canada with specialization in natural resources.
Joe has over 25 years of experience working in risk management, broking and insurance. Joe has experience with insurance program oversight, claims management, development of an Enterprise Risk Management program and captive implementation and utilization. He has a solid risk management background and previously held the position of risk manager for Enbridge Inc. and Director of Insurance for Suncor Energy Inc. Joe was the head of the Calgary office and the Canadian Energy Practice Leader for Canada for a global broker for 12 years prior to joining NFP.
Joe holds a Bachelor’s degree from Carleton University, a Fellowship (FCIP) accreditation with the Insurance Institute of Canada and has completed his MBA at the Heriot Watt School of Business in Edinburgh Scotland.
