Koker Christensen is a partner at Fasken and Co-Leader of the firm’s Financial Services Group. He works with insurers, reinsurers, agents, brokers and insurtechs. Koker advises on mergers and acquisitions, assumption and indemnity reinsurance transactions, regulatory matters, corporate governance and risk management. As part of his practice, Koker frequently deals with OSFI and other financial services regulators.
Koker’s transactional and regulatory expertise has been recognized by leading legal directories, including Chambers Canada, Who’s Who Legal Canada and the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory.
Koker is a past member of the Stakeholder Advisory Committee for Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario. He is also a member of the board of directors of a Canadian chartered bank and Prosper Canada, a national charity dedicated to expanding economic opportunity for Canadians living in poverty.
