Michael Densham is the Vice President of Executive and Professional Lines at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI). Michael is accountable for developing and executing the market entry strategy for the business lines he oversees and positioning the Executive and Professional lines portfolio for long term profitability within the Canadian market place. Michael joined BHSI after gaining a decade of experience in positions of increasing responsibility at Chubb. He most recently served as Vice President of Chubb Specialty Insurance with accountability for the growth and profitability of the Private Company Executive Liability and Professional Liability segments within the national portfolio.
In his last two roles at Chubb he had the additional responsibility of joint oversight of Chubb’s commercial operations staff and driving efficiencies within the service delivery of Chubb’s Specialty Insurance unit. Prior to his last role, Michael held underwriting and leadership positions in Toronto and Vancouver with increasing amounts of authority, strategic oversight and P&L accountability for private company and public company clients across all executive and professional liability products.
Michael received his bachelor’s of business administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
