Michael J. Donoghue is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Allstate Insurance Company of Canada and a Vice President of the Allstate Corporation (USA). In his current assignment, Mike is accountable for the Allstate Canada group of companies’ property and casualty insurance business, including the Allstate Insurance Company of Canada, Pembridge Insurance Company and Pafco Insurance Company. He has worked for Allstate for 38 years with previous assignments throughout the United States and Canada. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and completed executive programs at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and McMaster’s DeGroote School of Business.
Mike is a past member of several U.S. Boards including national Housing Services in NYC, the Rockland County N.Y. United Way, the New York Vehicle Accident Indemnification Corporation and the National Insurance Crime Bureau. He is currently Chair for the Board of Directors for IBC (Insurance Bureau of Canada). Mike is also a member of The American Chamber of Commerce in Canada and serves on the Ontario Council. He is actively involved on the York Region United Way Cabinet and is a member of the Circle of Champions for Toronto’s Mentoring Partnership.
Mike and his wife Alice have three sons.
