Nicole Bonnie has started in her role as Chief Executive Officer at the Ontario Association of Children’s Aid Societies (OACAS). Ms. Bonnie brings with her a strong background in equity-centred leadership. Ms. Bonnie comes to OACAS from the Children’s Aid Society of Toronto, where she was the Director of Equity and Community Development, and prior to that she led Community Engagement and Partnerships, as well as Anti-Oppression Strategy, at Peel Children’s Aid. Throughout her career, Nicole has worked in multiple areas of social work including mental health, criminal justice and violence against women, and teaching post secondary social work courses locally and internationally. Ms. Bonnie is a sought-after equity consultant and brings transformative leadership and innovation to leading organizations.
