Tim J. Leech is Director, Corporate Trust Services at Navigant Consulting based in Toronto, Canada.  Services include corporate trust restoration consulting and training,  SOX/MI 52-109 optimization services, integrated GRC implementation consulting, and GRC/SOX forensic accounting services.  Prior to joining Navigant in July 2007 he was Chief Methodology Officer with Paisley, the world’s leading provider of Enterprise GRC software solutions.  From 1991 to 2004 Tim was founder/CEO of CARD®decisions, a global pioneer in the ERM and CRSA areas. Other positions he has held include Managing Director of a subsidiary of the Hambros Bank, Director- Control & Risk Management Services with C&L, and a range of comptrollership and internal audit roles with Gulf Canada.  In 1997 Tim was elected Fellow of the Ontario CA Institute in recognition of distinguished service to the profession.

Leech’s practice includes an on-going engagement as Founding Director of the Institute of Management Accountants Finance GRC Research Practice.  Leech will be assisting the IMA with the development and launch of the world’s first professional certificates in the areas of Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) and Finance GRC.  Leech has provided training for tens of thousands of public and private sector professional accountants and auditors in Canada, the U.S., the EU, Australia, South America, Africa and the Middle and Far East. He has received worldwide recognition as a pioneer and thought leader in the fields of enterprise GRC, ERM, CRSA, and practical and cost effective approaches to Sarbanes-Oxley and similar corporate governance reporting regimes around the world.
