Camilo Baratto

Camilo Baratto is Director, Corporate Insurance and Risk at Kruger Inc., where he oversees enterprise insurance programs, captive strategy, and risk governance across industrial and energy operations.

His career spans auditing and control roles at Alcan/Rio Tinto, over a decade managing structured risk programs at Saputo, and more recently leading risk strategy in heavy industry and project-intensive environments at Kruger.

He brings a risk buyer’s perspective on managing emerging and peak risks through a balance of risk transfer, retention, and resilience, aligning insurance and captive strategies with capital allocation and broader enterprise value. He also contributes to industry dialogue as a member of the FM Global Risk Management Council of Canada.
