Charles Halam-Andres joined Scotia Capital’s Infrastructure Group in August 2008 and moved to the DCM Group in December 2009 where he was instrumental in closing the McGill Hospital transaction. Previously, Mr. Halam-Andres was Senior Vice President at CIT Energy & Infrastructure where, between 2003 to 2008, he structured and closed over $3.5 billion of project finance transactions including 10 Canadian P3 transactions.
Formerly, as General Counsel for CIT’s Structured Finance Unit, Charles was responsible for overseeing the Unit’s legal function including providing legal services for the structuring, underwriting and syndication of transactions. Prior to joining CIT, was a partner at a major Canadian law firm.
