David Cook is the Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) for ENCON Group Inc.’s Underwriting Management division. In this role, he leads the development of the company’s specialty insurance underwriting appetite. Dave also oversees ENCON’s underwriting operations for Architects and Engineers Professional Liability, Construction and Environmental Insurance, Directors and Officers Liability, Errors and Omissions, Technology Liability, Commercial General Liability and Umbrella Liability.
Dave joined ENCON in 1992, after earning a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his CUO role, having progressed through a range of positions with increasing levels of responsibility in underwriting and actuarial analysis. Dave is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
