Henry Klecan is currently the Managing Director of SCOR’s operations in the Americas – P&C and Life – with offices in Canada, the U.S, Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America.
Mr. Klecan is also the President and Chief Executive Officer of SCOR U.S Corporation and SCOR Reinsurance Company; he also serves as the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of General Security National Insurance Company, General Security Indemnity Company of Arizona and SCOR Canada Reinsurance Company and is a member of the Board of Directors on each of these companies. Mr. Klecan is currently a member of the SCOR Global P&C SE Executive Committee and a past member of the SCOR Group Executive Committee (Paris).
Mr. Klecan is a Director and a member of the Executive Committee of the Reinsurance Association of America and a Director of the Reinsurance Research Council of Canada. He is also the past President and Director of the Quebec Easter Seals Society and continues to be involved in various charitable and philanthropic causes.
Henry Klecan’s professional career has included all aspects of insurance and reinsurance management, underwriting and brokerage including the practice of law as a corporate/commercial litigator. He is a graduate of Concordia University – BA and the University of Montreal –LL.L – where he obtained his law degree and is a member of the Quebec Bar Association.
Mr. Klecan is married and currently resides and works in New York City.
