Aly Kanji founded InsureLine in 2015 with a vision to revolutionize the insurance industry and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
He was called to the bar as a lawyer in 2002. What started out as a commercial litigation claim involving an insurance brokerage, turned into a passion and way of life. Aly was drawn to the insurance business and obtained his CAIB designation within a short period of time and has since become fully immersed in the world of insurance. He paved the way for another insurance brokerage operation by helping them grow 60 active locations throughout BC and Alberta, then turned his sights onto founding InsureLine where his focus on success comes from giving and adding value to others. In an environment where consolidation is closing doors, Aly is helping entrepreneurial brokers start and own their own brokerage.
Aly served as past Chair and President of the Board of the Insurance Brokers Association of B.C. as well as volunteered on the IBAC Board. He currently sits on the CSIO Board as broker representative. Aly is particularly vocal about encouraging diversity within the insurance industry and is often called upon to share his perspective.
