Bob Tisdale, former President & COO, Pafco & Pembridge Insurance – retired from his role as president and chief operating officer (COO) of Pembridge Insurance Company and Pafco Insurance Company on August 18, 2020, which coincided with his 40-year work anniversary.
In his role as president and COO of Pembridge and Pafco – both owned by the Allstate Insurance Company of Canada, where he also served as vice president – Tisdale made many significant contributions. One of his most notable achievements was his involvement in the transformation of Pembridge. Tisdale led the strategic planning and vision for Pembridge’s broker distribution channel, which turned the firm into an industry-leading personal lines market. He also re-launched Pafco as a company focused on non-standard personal lines.
Currently he is serving on several boards, including General Insurance Ombudservice (GIO), CRU GROUP and tpa, among others. He also acts as an advisor to several insurance tech companies.
