Diane Brickner is the President and CEO of Peace Hills Insurance. She joined the company at its inception in 1982 and was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in 1990. During this time, the company has successfully expanded throughout Western Canada and today writes in excess of 140 million dollars.
Diane has held many positions in the industry and her community. Presently, she is a Director on the Insurance Bureau of Canada Board, Chairman of the Property and Casualty Insurance Compensation Corporation, and most recently a Director of the Edmonton Eskimos. This year, she was honoured with the 2008 Charles Allard Chair of Business Award.
The Canadian Association of Insurance Women presented Diane with the Insurance Woman of the Year award in 1992 and the Edmonton YWCA awarded her the Woman of Distinction in Business, Management and Profession in 1995.
Diane enjoys being an Albertan along with her son Jake and is committed to living Dr. MacEwan’s creed “to leave this world a better place than she found it”.
