Dominic J. Addesso is President of Everest Re Group, Ltd., and CEO designee effective January 1, 2014. Appointed President in June of 2011, Mr. Addesso is responsible for the executive management of the Company, overseeing the execution of the Company’s strategic vision. Everest is a leading international reinsurance and insurance organization with an extensive distribution network that spans five continents.
Mr. Addesso joined the Company in 2009 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Everest, he had been with Munich Re America where he most recently held the position of President of its Regional Clients division, responsible for operational and underwriting management. Mr. Addesso had joined Munich Re America in 1997 from Selective Insurance Group, where he spent 19 years in a number of senior leadership positions, including that of Chief Financial Officer. With more than 30 years of insurance industry experience, Mr. Addesso has accumulated extensive experience across the financial and operating disciplines of a company.
Mr. Addesso started his career with KPMG after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and holds memberships in the American Institute of CPAs and the New Jersey Society of CPA’s.
