George Cochran

Co-Chairman, Fox-Pitt Kelton Cochran Coronia Waller

George Cochran serves as Chairman of Fox-Pitt Kelton Cochran Caronia Waller and is the co-founder of Cochran Caronia Waller.  Prior to co-founding CCW, he served as Managing Director and insurance industry head of Coopers & Lybrand Securities, LLC.  George spent 10 years with the investment banking firm Kidder, Peabody & Co., where he helped develop the firm’s insurance industry mergers and acquisitions financing practice.  He began his career at Lloyd’s of London in 1976, followed by a stint with Corroon & Black Corporation.

George completed his undergraduate education at Williams College and Principia College and received his master’s degree in management from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

George is currently the non-executive Chairman of the Shelbourne Group and a Director of Lancer Financial, an Illinois insurance company.  He also earned his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
