James is a Director on the Insurance Capital Solutions team and is responsible for covering P&C insurance clients for capital markets and risk transfer solutions. His primary focus is the insurance-linked securities product, including catastrophe bonds and sidecars. His responsibilities include the origination, structuring and execution of natural catastrophe ILS.
James has worked on over 30 structured insurance transactions since joining the team in 2007. Prior to joining the insurance team, James worked on the Debt Capital Markets team, covering a range of FIG and corporate clients for debt, hybrid, and preferred capital.
James is a graduate of Princeton University and a CFA charterholder.
