Jennifer Fox is Vice President, Customs of the Canadian Trucking Alliance (CTA) as well as Vice President, Customs and Compliance of the Ontario Trucking Association (OTA) and in these capacities she handles all cross border policy, regulation and day-to-day issues for the OTA and the CTA.
The CTA and OTA are respectively the federal and provincial associations representing the industry’s viewpoint on national and international policy as well as regulatory and legislative issues that affect trucking. Members consist of a broad cross-section of the trucking industry.
In addition to her current work with CTA and OTA during her career Jennifer has worked for various links in the supply chain, having experience with an importer, a manufacturer, an exporter and a trucking company. This has given her extensive expertise on border crossing issues and their impact on the supply chain. In recent years Jennifer has had oversight of the impact of cargo crimes to the trucking industry initiating extensive consultation and cooperative research into the trends, scope and mitigation strategies to tackle the emerging threat.
