As Director Insurance Risk, Joe is responsible for the identification, quantification and management of the insurable risks of all of TC Energy’s pipe and energy assets in North America and day-to-day management of the offshore insurance captive.
Since joining the company in October 1995, Joe has held a variety of progressive roles in the risk management group and appointed Director in November 2012.
Prior to joining TC Energy, Joe worked at Johnson & Higgins as an insurance broker and loss control engineer.
Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba in 1983 and became a Professional Engineer in 1986. He earned his Canadian Risk Management Diploma in 1991. He is also a member of APEGGA, AGA and RIMS.
Joe regularly speakers at insurance industry events on topics of claims and risk management in the energy industry.
