Jon Schubert is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC), based in Vancouver.
Jon joined ICBC in November 2008 – continuing a 35-year career in the insurance business. Jon’s previous experience includes President and Chief Executive Officer of Saskatchewan Government Insurance and Coachman Insurance Company and operating his own insurance consulting business.
Jon is a Certified Management Accountant and has had active involvement in a number of research projects concerning whiplash, neck pain and brain injuries with World Health Organization and United Nation research task forces.
Jon has been involved in the community with a number of organizations including past Chair of the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency. He is currently a director on the Vancouver Board of Trade and Governor of the Business Council of British Columbia.
