Matthew Yeshin is Marsh Canada Limited’s National Practice Leader for Marine and Manager of the Toronto Marine Group.
Specializing in marine placements for clients in transportation, mining and technology, Matthew joined Marsh in 1992 and has gained practical marine insurance experience in the North American market, and while working at Marsh UK, a leading Lloyds broker in the United Kingdom.
In response to the needs of the logistics and transportation industry, Matthew has developed a dedicated team of marine and transportation specialists, able to respond to the complex coverage and contractual issues of the industry, as well as the needs of clients in other industries who have global and domestic transit exposures. The Canadian Marine team coordinates with Marsh’s Global Marine and Transportation Practices, giving them unique depth and unequalled access to global marine insurance markets, capable of providing a variety of traditional and unique solutions for our clients.
As part of Marsh’s global cargo e-commerce initiative, Matthew has been involved with the development of a global web-based cargo insurance management platform, and is currently involved in the development of web solutions for other lines of marine coverage.
