Nima Ashtari is a serial entrepreneur with a background in robotics as applied to the automotive industry. With over 10 years of experience in the auto industry working for companies like Honda, Magna and Tesla, Nima brings his experience in technology to the P&C Insurance space. Nima is a self-taught developer, a mechatronics engineer by education and a leader by practice. His first startup was in the field of after-market autonomous vehicles, becoming the first private entity to test AVs on Ontario roads. Nima is now working on a connected insurance startup revolutionizing the way auto insurance is assessed and losses controlled. He is interested in the intersection of technology and business, and is motivated by problem solving and driven by curiosity.
