Mr. Roy joined the ServiceMaster corporate office in March 2005 and was promoted to the Business Leader of Disaster Restoration in February 2006. Stephan was named a Director of the company effective January 1, 2013 and continues to be responsible for the largest division serving Canada within the ServiceMaster Family of Brands. In this role, Mr. Roy is responsible for overseeing the complete ServiceMaster Restore operations, brand performance and development, strategic direction and business development for the Canadian market.
Mr. Roy is a founding member of the Restoration Contractors Organization of Canada and is currently on the Board of Directors. He is a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and a former Xactimate certified trainer with 28 years of industry experience.
Previous to his employment with ServiceMaster of Canada, Mr. Roy spent more than 11 years of his career with insurance carriers (The Cooperators, Liberty Mutual and TD Insurance) holding progressive property roles in field claims, national vendor programs and technical claims management. Prior to working on the insurance side of the business, Stephan was an IICRC certified manager working in field operations for a disaster restoration business.
