Toronto, March 8, 2021
National Insurance Conference of Canada (NICC) 2021 has been cancelled due to COVID-19 and will run again in the autumn of 2022.
It is with regret that we, along with our esteemed Advisory Committee, have made the difficult decision to cancel the National Insurance Conference of Canada (NICC) amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. NICC 2021 had been delayed until November and was slated to run in Vancouver.
This decision was made due to the slow vaccine rollout, the uncertainties presented by the variants at this time, and corporate travel restrictions in Canada and abroad. It was felt that mounting an event of NICC’s calibre would be hampered by these hurdles.
We, and our CEO-level Committee, are eager to bring Canada’s premier industry conference back to you in September 2022 and raise a glass together in beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia.
In the meantime, MSA is actively delivering virtual thought leadership events in 2021 including InsurTech North and CatIQ Connect.
On behalf of the entire MSA Research team, I would like to thank the NICC advisory committee and our sponsors. “Stay positive…test negative”
